Kevin Krasnow, PhD
Kevin is an environmental scientist, educator, and strategic facilitator with more than 25 years of experience working across ecological science, GIS and mapping, conservation strategy, evaluation, and inquiry and place-based learning.
His career has included leadership roles in nonprofit conservation, field science education, applied research, and teacher professional development. He has directed research, developed maps and reports, facilitated collaborative processes, taught science in a range of settings, and helped organizations translate complex information into effective action.
Kevin holds a PhD in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management from the University of California, Berkeley, a master’s degree in Geography from the University of Colorado Boulder, a BA from Stanford University, and a biological science secondary teaching credential from San Francisco State
He founded the Gateway Outdoor Leadership and Science Program in San Francisco, served as Research Director and Faculty with Teton Science Schools and the University of Wyoming, and most recently worked as Conservation Director for the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance.
